Acceptable Use Policy
Acceptable Use Policy applies automatically to all Veeble Softtech Private Limited [hereafter referred to as "Veeble"] clients upon subscription to the Services including subscription through a third party or any commercial partner.Customer agrees to use the Services only for lawful purposes, in compliance with all applicable law.

Specific activities that are prohibited include, but are not limited to :
- Threatening harm to persons or property or otherwise harassing behavior.
- Violating Indian export control laws for software or technical information.
- Misrepresenting or fraudulently representing products/services
- Transmission, distribution or storage of any material in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
- Transmission, distribution or storage of any material protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret or other intellectual property right without proper authorization, and material that is obscene, defamatory, an invasion of privacy or constitutes an illegal threat, or is otherwise illegal.
- Facilitating, aiding, or encouraging any of the above activities, whether using Veeble’s network or service by itself or via a third party’s network or service.
- Interference with a third party’s use of Veeble’s network or service, or ability to connect to the Internet or provide services to Internet users.
- Manage a proxy server
Veeble has a STRONG anti-spam policy and applies it. Spammers are NOT welcomed. This includes spamming through open proxy servers or any other kind of unsolicited email advertising. If a customer is found to be in violation of our SPAM policy, Veeble may, at its sole discretion, restrict, suspend or terminate customer's account. Further, Veeble reserves the right to pursue civil remedies for any costs associated with the investigation of a substantiated policy violation. Veeble will notify law enforcement officials if the violation is believed to be a criminal offense. The customer acknowledges that he is responsible for any and all SPAM related actions which come from their account.
- Sending unsolicited email messages, including, without limitation, commercial advertising and informational announcements, is explicitly prohibited even if the lists are said to be opt-in.
- Customer will not use another site's mail server to relay mail without the express permission of the site.
- It is strictly forbidden to send out unsolicited email from any other network that advertises, promotes or in any way points to a location inside Veeble network.
- Service will be terminated without refunds if spamming tools are found inside the server.
- The mail ports are disabled by default on UK location Windows/Linux servers as we follow strict anti-spam policy. You may request contact technical dept to enable those. The approval of this request is solely decided by the dept. The decision cannot be challenged. The mail port disable is not any valid reason to apply for refunds.
Frequent Attack Targets Services (IRC networks, Camfrog, etc.)
It is absolutely forbidden to host an IRC server that is part of or connected to another IRC network or server. Servers found to be connecting to or part of these networks will be immediately removed from our network without notice. The server will not be reconnected to the network until such time that you agree to completely remove any and all traces of the irc server, and agree to let us have access to your server to confirm that the content has been completely removed. It is also forbidden to host Camfrog servers or other server applications that are frequent targets of Denial of Service attacks or other types of attacks. Any server guilty of a second violation will result in immediate account termination.
Adult Content
VPS/dedicated servers: It is strictly forbidden to publish adult content on VPS/Dedicated servers. Veeble reserves the right to suspend any account publishing offending content.
Shared/reseller Hosting: It is strictly forbidden to publish adult content on shared/reseller hosting accounts. The restriction applies, without limitation, to images and videos.
System and Network Security
Customer is prohibited from utilizing Veeble services to compromise the security or tamper with system resources or accounts on computers at the Premises or at any third party site.
- Threatening harm to persons or property or otherwise harassing behavior.
- Use or distribution of tools designed for compromising security.
- Unauthorized access to or use of data, systems or networks, including any attempt to probe, scan or test the vulnerability of a system or network or to breach security or authentication measures without express authorization of the owner of the system or network.
- Unauthorized monitoring of data or traffic on any network or system without express authorization of the owner of the system or network.
- Deliberate attempts to overload a system and broadcast attacks.
- Forging of any TCP-IP packet header or any part of the header information in an email or a newsgroup posting.
- Intentionally or negligently transmitting files containing a computer virus or corrupted data.
RESTRICTIONS IN UK LOCATION DEDICATED
SERVERS/VPS
Prohibited Uses of Services:
- Transmission, distribution or storage of any material in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
- Transmission, distribution or storage of any material that may cause Veeble to come into disrepute or which could be considered immoral even if of a legal nature.
- Provision of internet access, VPN or tunnelling of traffic from unidentified users, or in a manner which user details cannot be disclosed to Veeble.
- Sending Unsolicited Bulk Email ("UBE", "spam").
- Relaying of mail, using mailbox forwarders and or forwarding mail using mailing lists utilizing any resource hosted on Veeble's servers.
- Running Unconfirmed Mailing Lists.
- Sending any Bulk email including Confirmed Mailing Lists with any email address which cannot be replied to or replies with an auto-responder.
- Advertising, transmitting, or otherwise making available any software, program, product, or service that is designed to violate this AUP or the AUP of any other Internet Service Provider.
- Operating or advertising any service which is known or likely to cause Unsolicited Bulk Email, initiation of pinging, flooding, mail-bombing or denial of service attacks.
- Operating an account on behalf of, or in connection with, or reselling any service to, persons or firms listed in the Spamhaus Register of Known Spam Operations (ROKSO) database.
- Defacing of websites or submission of SPAM to blogs, forums or message boards.
- Unauthorised attempts by a user to gain access to any account or computer resource not belonging to that user.
- Obtaining or attempting to obtain service by any means or device with intent to avoid payment.
- Unauthorised access, alteration, destruction, or any attempt thereof, of any information of any Veeble customers or end-users by any means or device.
- Knowingly engage in any activities designed to harass, or that will cause a denial-of-service to any other user.
- Using Veeble's Services to interfere with the use of the Veeble network by other customers or authorised users.
UNLIMITED USAGE POLICIES AND DEFINITIONS
1. What "Unlimited" means:
Veeble does not set an arbitrary limit or cap on the amount of resources a single Subscriber can use.In good faith and subject to these Terms, Veeble makes every commercially reasonable effort to provide its Subscribers with all the storage and bandwidth resources needed to power their web sites successfully, as long as the Subscriber's use of the service complies with these Terms.By not setting limits on key resources, we are able to provide simple, consistent pricing to our Subscribers as they grow their websites.As a result, a typical website may experience periods of great popularity and resulting increased storage without experiencing any associated increase in hosting charges.
2. What "Unlimited" DOES NOT mean:
Veeble employs complex mechanisms to protect its Subscribers and systems from abuse.Veeble's offering
of "unlimited" services is not intended to allow the actions of a single or few Subscribers to
unfairly or adversely impact the experience of other Subscribers.
Veeble's service is a shared
hosting service, which means that multiple Subscriber web sites are hosted from the same server and
share server resources.Veeble's service is designed to meet the typical needs of small business and
home business website Subscribers.It is NOT intended to support the sustained demand of large
enterprises, internationally based businesses, or non-typical applications better suited to a
dedicated server.
Veeble will make every commercially reasonable effort to provide additional
resources to Subscribers who are using their website(s) consistent with these Terms, including
moving Subscribers to newer and bigger shared servers as necessary.However, in order to ensure a
consistent and quality experience for all Subscribers, Veeble does place automated safeguards to
protect against any one site growing too quickly and adversely impacting the system until Veeble can
evaluate said sites resource needs.
3. Unlimited Hosting Space; excessive MySQL files:
Veeble does not set arbitrary limits on the amount of disk space a Subscriber can use for the Subscriber's website, nor does Veeble charge additional fees based on an increased amount of storage used, provided the Subscriber's use of storage complies with these Terms. Please note, however, that the Veeble service is designed to host websites. Veeble does NOT provide unlimited space for online storage, backups, or archiving of electronic files, documents, log files, etc., and any such prohibited use of the Services will result in the termination of Subscriber's account, with or without notice. Accounts with a large number of files (inode count in excess of 200,000) can have an adverse affect on server performance. Similarly, accounts with an excessive number of MySQL/PostgreSQL tables (i.e., in excess of 1000 database tables) or of database size (i.e., in excess of 3GB total MySQL/PostgreSQL usage or 2GB MySQL/PostgreSQL usage in a single database) negatively affect the performance of the server. Veeble may request that the number of files/inodes, database tables, or total database usage be reduced to ensure proper performance or may terminate the Subscriber's account, with or without notice.
4. Unlimited File Transfer:
Veeble does not set arbitrary limits on the amount of visitor traffic a web site can receive or on the amount of content a Subscriber can upload to his/her/its website in a given month, nor does Veeble charge additional fees based on increased use of bandwidth, as long as the Subscriber's use of the Services complies with these Terms.
In most cases, a Subscriber's web site will be able to support as much traffic as the Subscriber can legitimately acquire.
However, Veeble reserves the right to limit processor time, bandwidth, processes, or memory in cases where it is necessary to prevent negatively impacting other Subscribers.
5. Unlimited Domain Hosting:
Veeble does not set arbitrary limits on the number of domain names a Subscriber can associate with the Subscriber's web hosting account.
To maintain the integrity of our service the following limitations apply to such hosting plans:
- Sites with Banners, graphics or cgi scripts running from their domain used on other domain
- Sites with picture galleries (This is any site where 50% of the files transferred is graphics)
- Sites offering download files or archives. (This is any site where more than 50% of the monthly traffic is from files)
The following are not allowed in unlimited web hosting packages:
- File upload / sharing / archive / backup / mirroring / distribution sites.
- A site created primarily to drive traffic to another site.
- Making your account resources available (whether for free or paid) to the general public.
UBE:
Sending unsolicited bulk and/or commercial messages over the Internet (also known as "spamming") is
prohibited. This practice is harmful not only because of its negative impact on consumer attitudes
toward Veeble, but also because it can overload Veebles' network and disrupt service to Veebles'
clients. Maintaining an open SMTP relay is likewise prohibited. When a complaint is received, Veeble has
the discretion to determine from all of the evidence whether the client has violated this policy.
Intellectual Property
Violations:
Engaging in any activity that infringes or misappropriates the intellectual property rights of others is
prohibited. This includes copyrights, trademarks, service marks, trade secrets, software piracy, and
patents held by individuals, corporations, or other entities. Engaging in activity that violates
privacy, publicity, or other personal rights of others is likewise prohibited. Veeble is required by law
to remove or block access to client content upon receipt of a proper notice of copyright infringement or
other violations of the law. It is also Veebles' policy to terminate the privileges of clients who
commit repeat violations of copyright laws.
Obscene Speech or Materials:
Using Veebles' network to advertise, transmit, store, post, display, or otherwise make available child
pornography or obscene speech or material is prohibited. In addition, Veeble is required by law to
notify law enforcement agencies when it becomes aware of the presence of child pornography on or being
transmitted through Veebles' network.
Defamatory or Abusive Language:
Using Veebles' network as a means to transmit or post defamatory, harassing, abusive, or threatening
language is prohibited.
Forging of Headers:
Forging or misrepresenting message headers, whether in whole or in part, to mask the originator of the
message is prohibited.
Distribution of Internet Viruses, Worms, Trojan Horses, or Other Destructive Activities:
Distributing information regarding the creation and sending of Internet viruses, worms, Trojan horses,
pinging, flooding, mail bombing, or denial of service attacks is prohibited. Activities that disrupt the
use of or interfere with the ability of others to effectively use the network or any connected network,
system, service, or equipment are likewise prohibited.
Facilitating a Violation of the
AUP:
Advertising, transmitting, or otherwise making available any software, program, product, or service that
is designed to violate Veebles' AUP is prohibited. This includes the facilitation of the means to Spam,
initiation of pinging, flooding, mail bombing, denial of service attacks, and piracy of software.
Illegal Activities:
Engaging in activities that are determined to be illegal is prohibited. This includes but is not limited
to false advertising, transmitting, or otherwise making available ponzi schemes, pyramid schemes,
fraudulently charging credit cards, and pirating software.
Other Activities:
Engaging in activities, whether lawful or unlawful, that Veeble determines to be harmful to its clients,
operations, reputation, goodwill, or customer relations is prohibited.
We hope the AUP is helpful in clarifying the obligations of Internet users, including Veeble and its clients, as responsible members of the Internet. Any complaints about a client's violation of the AUP should be sent to [email protected].
