Follow the instructions below to set up your iPad or iPhone mail application to access your Optimum Online e-mail account:<\/p>\n

1. From the Home screen, tap Settings.<\/p>\n

2. On the Settings screen, tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars.<\/p>\n

3. Select Add Account….<\/p>\n

4. Select Other.<\/p>\n

5. Select Add Mail Account.<\/p>\n

6. On the New Account screen, complete the following fields:<\/p>\n

Name.\nAddress (your e-mail address).\nPassword (your e-mail password).\nDescription (a description of the e-mail address, this will be displayed in the e-mail account list on your iPad or iPhone, i.e.: personal or work e-mail).\n<\/pre>\n
7. Select Save.<\/p>\n
8. Select POP.<\/p>\n
9. Enter your Incoming Mail Server information:<\/p>\n
In the Host Name field, enter your e-mail server name. [mail.yourdomain.com]\nIn the User Name field, enter your full e-mail address. [user@yourdomain.com]\nIn the Password field, enter your e-mail account password.<\/pre>\n
10. Enter your Outgoing Mail Server information:<\/p>\n
In the Host Name field, enter your e-mail server name. [mail.yourdomain.com]\nIn the User Name field, enter your full e-mail address. [user@yourdomain.com]\nIn the Password field, enter your e-mail account password.\nConfirm Use SSL is set to Off.\nConfirm Authentication is set to Password.\nConfirm that the Server Port is set to 25 [try 110 if 25 doesn't work].\n<\/pre>\n
11. To complete, select Save.<\/p>\n
