{"id":65,"date":"2015-04-27T10:15:15","date_gmt":"2015-04-27T10:15:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/betakb.veeble.org\/?p=65"},"modified":"2025-04-28T12:27:08","modified_gmt":"2025-04-28T06:57:08","slug":"how-to-enable-and-configure-proxy-subdomains-in-whm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.veeble.com\/kb\/how-to-enable-and-configure-proxy-subdomains-in-whm\/","title":{"rendered":"How to Enable and Configure Proxy Subdomains in WHM"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The proxy subdomain option will automatically redirect visitors to the correct port when they access the following subdomains (example.com stands for the user&#8217;s domain name):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>cpanel.example.com redirects to the user&#8217;s cPanel interface [no need to use example.com:2082].<\/li>\n<li>webmail.example.com redirects to the user&#8217;s webmail [no need to use example.com:2095].<\/li>\n<li>whm.example.com redirects to the user&#8217;s WHM interface [no need to use example.com:2086].<\/li>\n<li>webdisk.example.com redirects to the user&#8217;s Web Disk.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You can enable this option on your server. There isn&#8217;t much security issues involved in it, unless you are using custom ports for these services.
