To confirm which partition is root, home, or swap, use the command &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/man7.org\/linux\/man-pages\/man8\/lsblk.8.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">lsblk<\/a>&#8221; or try viewing the file <a href=\"https:\/\/man7.org\/linux\/man-pages\/man5\/fstab.5.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\/etc\/fstab<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"step-3-run-fsck-on-the-partitions\">Step 3: Run FSCK on the Partitions<\/h4>\n\n\n<p>To fix issues, run the <strong>fsck<\/strong> command on each partition: swap, home, and root. In my case, the swap partition is \/dev\/sdb9, so I execute the below command:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code>fsck \/dev\/sdb9 -y<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>Replace <code>\/dev\/sdb9<\/code> in the above command with the actual swap partition on your system.
